Reflecting on Roving with the iSWOOP Visual Library

Hi All,

Some of you may have seen this article in draft form–Nick, Louise, Pam and I wrote an article based on interpreters’ experience roving with the iSWOOP iPads in 2014. Thanks to everyone who reported on the experience, kept a tally of visitors they talked to, and was forthcoming in expressing the obstacles. Of course your quotes make it. This version is the one submitted to the journal, so doesn’t have the figures in it, but you can use your imagination, right? _iSWOOP Roves_v20_mmss

If we make it into print (it’s pending review at the Journal for Interpretation Research), we’ll let you know.

Meanwhile, if you have never roved with images from Nick and Louise’s work, here’s a taste of what might happen.

Martha
